ChatGPT Boost your productivity
Imagine a world where computers can think, learn, and make decisions like humans do. That’s not science fiction anymore. We’re living in an era where Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become an inseparable part of our lives, permeating every sector, from healthcare and finance to e-commerce and the development of virtual assistants. AI continues to expand its capabilities, its influence extends far and wide, reaching into every aspect of our lives.
On November 30, 2022, OpenAI, an AI research and development company, launched its chatbot called ChatGPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer). Since its launch, ChatGPT has taken the world by storm, winning over an astonishing 1 million users in just five days and within a few months, it reached an impressive milestone of 100 million users. Today, ChatGPT stands as a powerful and widely used AI tool, revolutionising the way people interact with AI technology.
The story of AI doesn’t start with ChatGPT,, it has an epic backstory that goes way back to the 1940s. The term “Artificial Intelligence,” was officially coined by John McCarthy, in 1956, marking the beginning of AI research. Flash forward to the 1960s, and you meet Eliza, the OG chatbot, paving the way for the birth of Shakey, the world’s first jack-of-all-trades robot in 1969. And who can forget the AI milestone of 1997 when DeepBlue, the supercomputer, outsmarted chess legend Garry Kasparov.
Fast forward to the early 2000s and 2010s, AI was on a roll. IBM’s Watson wowed us all with its “Jeopardy” triumph, answering questions like a pro. Meanwhile, virtual assistants like Siri, Google Assistant, and Cortana became our tech savvy BFFs, understanding our voice commands and doling out weather updates with ease. AI’s influence spread far and wide, touching every industry in the world.
In 2016, Sophia, the first robot citizen, stepped onto the scene, bringing AI and facial expressions to an amusingly realistic level. And in 2018, GPT-2 rocked our world with its mind-boggling ability to cook up coherent text rollercoaster rides from the ’40s to the 2020s, one wild and crazy tech adventure that keeps getting better and smarter with every mind-blowing innovation.
AI is not just an ordinary technology; it’s a powerful and ever-evolving one. It’s essential for everyone to know about AI and how to use it well to stay ahead and succeed in today’s fast-paced world. Some people worry that AI will take away jobs, but the truth is, it can also create new job opportunities. So, learning about AI and its impact is crucial for everyone
Now Let’s take a closer look at ChatGPT, the revolutionary chatbot by OpenAI. Let’s explore its capabilities and understand how to use it effectively.
ChatGPT:
Before we talk about chatGPT, let’s understand Natural Language Processing (NLP). It is a part of artificial intelligence (AI) that focuses on teaching computers to understand and interact with human language. Using algorithms and models, NLP enables machines to analyze large amounts of text, allowing applications such as language translation, sentiment analysis, speech recognition, and interactive chatbots.
And GPT stands for ‘Generative Pre-training Transformer,’ an AI-powered language model. It was released as a free research preview in November 2022. ChatGPT is a chatbot development tool that utilizes NLP to allow developers to create chatbots that can understand and respond to user input naturally and conversationally.
The “transformational” structure of GPT-3 efficiently processes long sequences of data. It has layers that prioritize words or phrases in each input, enabling it to understand the context and meaning of information better, resulting in more coherent responses. ‘Feed-forward layers’ and ‘residual connections’ enable the model to understand complex patterns, making it capable of capturing different words and phrases more effectively.
The “pre-trained” aspect means it has learned from a vast database of text, allowing it to grasp the patterns and structure of natural language for more conversational responses. Hence the responses are conversational. It takes in the context of the query and adapts itself to that. It is powered by a machine learning model called GPT-3, which is considered one of the most advanced NLP models to date.
OpenAI has launched its chatbot series, currently we have GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 available. ChatGPT-3.5 relies on GPT-3, which handles only text inputs and outputs. On the other hand, ChatGPT-4 utilizes the more advanced GPT-4 model with around 100 trillion parameters, delivering more accurate responses compared to GPT-3.5. It boasts a longer short-term memory, improved multilingual capabilities, and greater steerability, allowing users to choose specific personalities for customised responses. While ChatGPT-3.5 remains free, ChatGPT-4 is accessible through a subscription service called ChatGPT Plus, priced at $20 per month.
If you are unable to pay $20 per month, you can utilize the webChatGPT extension, which enables the chatGPT to search on Google and provide accurate answers.
To use chatGPT go to openAI signup using your google or microsoft account you can start chatting with chatGPT there.
I think chatGPT useful for everyone because it gives useful creative answers
If you’re a student you can use chatGPT to create powerpoint projects, you can take assistance for academic writings and creative ideas.
And if you’re a trader, or if you’re a beginner or intermediate in stock market AI is very useful, you just need to give a clear and understandable prompt. You can use google bard or microsoft bing if you’re not satisfied with chatGPT’s answer. I asked google bard to suggest what are the best stocks to invest in india based on their previous performance it gave me best stocks to invest in (note: this is not a financial advice you need to analyse again even after the AI’s suggestion)
And i asked best candlestick strategies of Hindustan Unilever and it gave me best candlestick strategies of HUL
All you need to do is give your concern in a clear and understandable form, you can use AI for fundamental and technical analysis.
And if you’re learning programming or tech savvy you can ask ChatGPT to ease your tasks. you can learn coding or you can ask ChatGPT to give specific programs you want , you can create chatbots, web applications. Modify your prompt until you get desires response
ChatGPT is really helpful for digital marketers. It eases the seo for their content and it will teach the best marketing tactics. If you’re searching for the best keyword just you can ask chatGPT to generate keywords and search them in google keyword and you can choose the better one. You can do many more with chatGPT
If you’re writing a blog post chatGPT helps you to provide the best content ideas.
You can also generate the content but you need to modify it because it won’t give proper structure and information. Using the AIRMP extension gives better results.
You can ask the chatGPT to correct grammar and spelling.
Here’s the response i get from chatGPT when i asked it to correct the grammar and spelling mistakes
ChatGPT is a versatile and valuable chatbot that allows us to accomplish many tasks.
Now let’s look at its limitations:
Overconfidence: ChatGPT can be overly confident in its responses, even when it is uncertain about the correct answer. This can lead to the generation of incorrect or misleading information.
It may give inaccurate responses when asked about specific persons or topics, and it lacks data collected beyond 2021
Trouble generating long-form, structured content, ChatGPT-4, while proficient at creating coherent and grammatically correct sentences, may encounter difficulties in producing lengthy pieces of content adhering to specific structures, formats, or narratives.
AI language models, such as ChatGPT, Bard, and Microsoft Bing, offer valuable information and insights. However, they have limitations and are not entirely free of errors. To ensure accuracy, it’s essential to engage in critical thinking, verify information from trustworthy sources, and use your own judgement when evaluating AI-generated responses or insights.
